This was so good to read Sarah, this year I learned; keep your attention focused entirely on what is truly your own concern, and be clear that what belongs to others is their business and none of yours.

I think of it as a balancing act. I still light a candle that says "my last fuck...

oh look, it's on fire" It's a constant awareness of the choices I'm making, what I choose to give a fuck about because they're finite for me at this point.

Thanks for reinforcing this use of energy and magic in our lives.

Perfect reminder to start the New Year off right! My goal for next year is to become better at my fuck budget when it comes to work. I'm pretty good, but I could be even better, and I want more time and energy towards reading in my spare time.
