I thought I was the only person who felt that way about Fargo. And you should SO get a medal for your professionalism with the putties. I'd have gone full sucker. Seriously, thank you for your QoTD, you just saved me three days' worth of painful writing consequences when I should be recovering from my disastrous attempts at cosplaying Marie Antoinette in my living room. (It's the Tracy Flick 'Pleaser' in me--am still deprogramming) Ever grateful. 😂

Ha! I always say that I was Tracey Flick before *Tracey Flick* was Tracey Flick 😂 Let the deprogramming continue apace!

That is a seriously adorable kitten, and I'm so impressed with you being able to let her and her mother go, even to good homes. (Full disclosure: I'm a reasonably sane cat lady. Seriously, there are only five, it's not like I don't know how many I have.) My husband also has put a moratorium on new living creatures moving into the house, so I totally get it.

Thank you for your solidarity. It was HARD!

I like your Apples of Wisdom very much, I’ll upgrade to a paid subscription one day!

The delivery of the phrase “How do you like them apples!” in the inimitably sinister tones (and very much in the NFG way) of Jack Nicholson in the movie “Chinatown” (1974), gets me in giggles of laughter every time!

I also love cats so the rooftop kitten rescue drama was a treat.

Keep up the great work!
